TRENTON, N.J. – President Donald Trump earned widespread praise on Wednesday when he issued an executive order expanding Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to prohibit antisemitism. The Administration’s goal is to tackle a rise in anti-Semitism on U.S. college campuses.

Among those supporting Trump’s order is Stuart Meissner, a 2020 GOP primary candidate for U.S. Senate in New ersey. Meissner is also a prominent whistleblower attorney and a Jewish American.

“I want to thank and congratulate President Trump for signing an Executive Order that expands the reach of Title VI to meet the alarming rise in anti-Semitism and BDS campaigns on campus,” said Meissner. “My own daughter and the students at Syracuse University have been recently terrorized by such threats, so I am pleased that the U.S. Department of Education will now be empowered to fight back against these instances of prejudice and hate.”

Meissner is the son of a Jewish immigrant who fled Nazi Germany immediately following Kristallnacht, an infamous night in November 1938 of mass violence targeting Jewish families, schools, synagogues and businesses In Germany. The slew of incidents he’s referring to at Syracuse – including bigoted graffiti – have led to a recent campus security crackdown.

Anti-Semitism largely originating from the Left and their college strongholds has surged in recent years. The shift coincides with the Democrat Party’s increasingly anti-Israel views manifested most prominently by “the Squad.”

Trump’s executive order was signed one day after a fatal attack on a kosher Jersey City market that left three civilians and one detective dead.

Meissner’s Republican primary opponents include former gubernatorial and federal candidate Hirsh Singh, activist Tricia Flanagan, Natalie Lynn Rivera, and most recently Pharmacist and attorney Rik Mehta. The victor will take on Cory Booker next November.
